Have you discovered you’re finding it harder to get around these days? Perhaps you feel like you’re missing out because you can’t keep up with friends or family when out walking. Whether disability or old age has hindered your abilities, we have a range of mobility scooters in stock at our mobility shops which will instantly restore your independence and have you back socialising again in no time.
At Mendip Mobility Ltd we understand the hardships that growing older can bring, along with the difficulties our clients can face when struggling with disabilities. Through our research and understanding, we’ve brought together a collection of new and used scooters which will benefit the majority of our clients in Street, Trowbridge, Yeovil and the surrounding areas.
We stock the following ranges, and welcome clients to call into each of our shops in order to try them out:
Designed to fold into the boot of most cars, our ‘bootie scooters’ are light and adjustable, making them perfect for holiday use and days out with family and friends. Simple to dismantle, with each component easily lifted, they’re ideal for our clients who are looking for convenience and comfort.
Slightly larger, pavement scooters are sturdier and a perfect mix of our smaller designs and road models. They can be more difficult to dismantle due to their size so we advise trying them out in advance to ensure you can manoeuvre them into the boot of your car.
Each of our transportable mobility scooters is equipped with armrests and storage baskets, with cushioned seats and backrests. Depending on the battery pack, their distance capabilities range from 11 miles to 25 miles.
Suited for our Street, Trowbridge and Yeovil clients who are looking for a more permanent mode of transport, Mendip Mobility’s Class 3 scooters are available in a variety of sizes. Fully equipped with lighting and indicators, you’ll be amazed at the amount of independence these provide.
Capable of travelling 35 miles on one charge (depending on the model), these mobility scooters are legal on both pavements and roads with a top speed of 8mph. Their pneumatic tyres and larger wheels will also make travelling a lot more comfortable.
Our Class 3 mobility scooters also have armrests in place, along with headrests and more sculpted seating. For clients who are looking for that little bit extra, we also stock the Cabin Car Mk2 which features a reversing camera, charging ports, digital readouts, and an internal heating system.
With your comfort and the British weather in mind, we stock the following mobility scooter accessories as well:
We will demonstrate each scooter for you in-store, making sure you’re perfectly happy with your purchase before collection or delivery. When opting for mobility scooters, we recommend you think about the following and, don’t forget, we’re more than happy to help:
Mendip Mobility offers a fully mobile servicing facility. Or, if preferred, you can return your scooter to our stores in Street, Trowbridge or Yeovil for repairs and maintenance. We’re also happy to replace or part-exchange your old model with one of our new or used mobility scooters.
